Song of the Week: A Propelling Force

"A Propelling Force" is a track I actually don't know too much about, by a 3 piece band from LA called Sister Mystery. Their latest Facebook post tells me that they're currently shooting a music video for the song. I came to know them because Stuart Richardson co-produced on a few of their tracks recently. I had a chat with him on Twitter about this song in particular and it's clear that he's just as much a lover as I am and he also says he's going to work on their upcoming album soon, of which I'll be eagerly awaiting! However, as far as sound goes - you'll enjoy this if you like bands such as Honeyblood, Phantogram or any other indie-ambient works you can think of. Lots of really fat, distorted bass but at a really cool, moderate tempo. A really raw track with lots of beef and elegance.
